When you think about the history of the defensive side of the ball for the FSU football team, it’s a group that includes some of the best to ever play the game – from guys in the Hall of Fame like Derrick Brooks and Deion Sanders to other great stars like Terrell Buckley, LeRoy Butler, and dozens of others both before and after.
What you don’t want to think about with that team is a group that last season was giving up touchdowns like they were free – yet still was a group that produced one of the first defenders taken in the NFL Draft in maybe the best player on the roster, defensive end Brian Burns.
