At the risk of offending anyone who is a fan or graduate of the schools currently playing in the ACC’s Coastal Division, there is no doubt that the Atlantic Division is by far the more dominant won in football. Between FSU football and Clemson, the division has won the last seven conference crowns and nine of the 13 overall since breaking into two groups.
Last season, the Clemson Tigers ended up destroying the best the coastal had to offer when they smoked the Miami Hurricanes by 35 points – and it wasn’t really even that close.
