It seems like true freshmen playing early is becoming more and more common as the years go by – which means there is an abundance of true freshmen making an impact around the nation. This is especially true when it comes to FSU football from Jalen Ramsey and Nate Andrews in the 2013 championship year, who were making plays all over the field.
Then came Dalvin Cook in 2014, who broke the ‘Noles freshman rushing record with 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns. As for last year, true freshman Cam Akers (who broke Cook’s freshman rushing record) was one of the lone bright spots during the dramatic 2017 FSU football season.
