News came out of the ACC Media Kickoff event in Charlotte that FSU defensive back Marcus Lewis would be transferring from the program.
The news wasn’t expected, but wasn’t a huge shock considering what Lewis endured last season.
He was in a big positional fight with Tarvarus McFadden for the starting boundary cornerback position that was ultimately won by McFadden.
Lewis is a talented player, former four-star recruit and FSU clearly wanted to have him on the field.
Unfortunately, the roles they placed him in were not familiar to him nor did it best fit his skillset.
