For five games during the 2015 season, Sean Maguire took the field as the starting quarterback for FSU football. While his record was not all that impressive (3-2 with one loss being to Clemson and the other in the Peach Bowl), Maguire was a part of maybe the best moment during the season for the Seminoles.
It was Maguire who was under center as the Seminoles dominated the rival Florida Gators and crushed their foes 27-2 (with the two points coming on a safety in the fourth quarter). It was the lowest point total the Gators ever had in the rivalry and the fourth time in the last five wins over Florida that FSU held their opponents to seven points or less.
