FSU football defensive coordinator Charles Kelly paid a visit to Surtain Jr. earlier this week at practice. The ‘Noles are up against stiff competition for the Florida native, but it’s clear FSU is certainly in the mix via the video interview below:
Surtain Jr. is the No. 4 player overall in the class of 2018 and the No. 1 rated cornerback. He stands at 6 feet 2 inches and 180 pounds which is comparable to Stanford Samuels who was the top rated cornerback recruit for the ‘Noles in 2017.
He hails from American Heritage HS in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
