FSU football recruiting brought in its worst ranked class last cycle after having its worst team in nearly 40 seasons.
However, that recruiting class wasn’t always set up to FSU’s poorest class. The Noles were in excellent position to land some of the nation’s best recruits.
The problem was they spent so much time on big fish located outside of recruiting hotbeds like Florida and Georgia that they missed on a lot of good talent located closer.
Ultimately, they only signed two players in the 2019 recruiting cycle that would come from outside of those two states.
