When the 2018 schedule came out for the FSU football program, that collective “oy” you heard from those in garnet and gold came from looking at the second half of the season – a schedule that included home games against rivals Clemson and Florida and several road matchups at Notre Dame and N.C. State.
With all that in mind, it was imperative for the Seminoles to get out of the gates early and win as many games as possible. While most of us thought that would be more than the three that they ended up with (and it should have been four if not for a late letdown against Miami), it could have been a lot worse so the Seminoles are counting their blessings.
