For the third straight season, the FSU football team is preparing for a September slate of games that includes a nationally televised opener against another ranked team that could make or break the season.
However, unlike the past two seasons where the Seminoles entered that opener thinking about ACC and national titles against other teams with the same dreams, the Noles face a Virginia Tech team who is one of the better ones in the ACC – and FSU football comes in as the lower ranked team without all the expectations.
For the second straight season, the Seminoles have five games on the September slate that includes three conference contests – of course, last season two of those games got postponed until later in the season due to Hurricane Irma, so let us all hope that the storms stay away and the Noles get to play all their games as scheduled.
