FSU football has brought in two recruiting classes on paper that have not been up to FSU standards in the Willie Taggart era.
The 2018 class was excusable considering the circumstances, and nearly 40 percent of those players played meaningful minutes in 2018.
The 2019 class that just wrapped up had a promising start with FSU being in the mix for several top prospects.
However, a 5-7 season with sheer look of confusion and lack of competitiveness during games pushed most of those elite players away.
FSU was forced to offer a lot of plan B and C recruits late in the process because of how the season went.
