FSU football fans understand the need for offensive tackles in its recruiting classes. It’s been a position of need for years now, and the coaching staff has been targeting them heavily.
The Noles have sent out 36 offers to offensive linemen for this recruiting cycle, and 25 of those offers have gone to offensive tackles.
The latest offer goes to Rod Orr, who hails from Gadsden City High School in Alabama. He’s a player the Noles have been developing a relationship with for a bit now.
He announced his offer via his Twitter account Saturday:
Orr checks in at 6’7″ and 296 pounds and currently has 12 offers from schools like FSU, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oregon, Missouri, Kansas, Syracuse, Tennessee, and some other schools not in the Power Five.
