FSU football needs a huge infusion of talent at defensive end with the departures of seniors Joshua Kaindoh and Janarius Robinson after the 2020 season.
Defensive end is a huge position of need for the Noles in 2021 as they have only signed two blue-chip defensive ends since Kaindoh signed in the 2017 recruiting cycle.
FSU has yet to land any defensive ends in the 2021 recruiting cycle, and it’s an area I’ve been pointing to for a while now that needs to be addressed.
Four-star defensive tackle Quintin Somerville announced his top eight schools Tuesday night, and the Noles were listed:
Somerville hails from Scottsdale, Arizona, and holds 16 offers from likes of FSU, Oklahoma, Arizona, Arizona State, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Utah, Memphis, Ole Miss, Washington, Vanderbilt, and others.
