FSU Football: ‘Noles Early Favorite To Win ACC In ESPN Projections

While there was some disappointment for fans of the Florida State Seminoles after the 2015 season, it was brought down a notch with the hopes and promise of what the 2016 season will have in store.

With superstar running back Dalvin Cook returning along with offensive threats like Travis Rudolph and Ermon Lane joining a stacked defense led by Derwin James, DeMarcus Walker, Derrick Nnadi and so many more, it won’t be surprising to see FSU football back in the College Football Playoff this season.

In the early edition of ESPN’s Football Power Index rankings (a madeup system by the network that is a little weird to figure out), the Worldwide Leader is pretty high on FSU football, predicting the Seminoles to win the ACC and so far having them as the second best team for the 2016 season:

When it comes to strength of schedule, FSU football sits at third in the country with conference games against Clemson, Louisville and Miami to go with a non-conference slate including bowl teams Florida, USF and Ole Miss:

In addition to having a 44 percent chance of winning the ACC (nearly 13 points higher than second place Clemson), FSU football is projected to have the most wins this season, holding a slight lead over both Clemson and LSU:
