Coach Fisher thought the FSU football team had a very good day at practice on Tuesday. Fisher said, “I liked the intensity…I liked the way we finished…I loved the execution and where we’re at mentally.”
However, he provided some terrible news right off the bat.
Senior safety Nate Andrews will miss the rest of the season, and will need surgery for a torn pectoral muscle. Andrews was injured during the Miami game on Saturday night. He came out of the game, however, he went back in the game and then came out for good.
Coach Fisher did mention that Andrews may be able to get a medical red shirt because he missed the first few games with a calf injury.
