Last Thursday marked the first in a string of up-and-down practices for Florida State football, where head coach Mike Norvell remarked that the Seminoles had “moments we have to be better.”
Two days later, FSU’s second scrimmage saw the defense dominate an offense incapable of taking advantage of opportunities due to self-inflicted mistakes. On Tuesday, hoping to see his team elevate in the penultimate week of camp, Norvell instead was disappointed as he failed to see the expected — and needed — edge come to fruition.
