FSU football coaches caught some flack when Luke Kromenhoek committed to the Noles in March 2022. He had not started a varsity high school game at quarterback and had zero scholarship offers when the Noles became the first.
A year later, Kromenhoek led his team to a state championship in his first year as a starter. He made the Elite 11 Finals and placed in the upper tier of the best quarterbacks. It took some time, but his recruiting ranking is finally catching up with the potential Mike Norvell, and the staff saw when they first watched him throw at an FSU camp.
