FSU football hired Kendal Briles for one reason, and that’s to get the offense back to respectable in 2019 and then among the best of the best after that.
Some FSU fans may think that’s a daunting task, but Briles has been able to implement his offense at new places quickly with outstanding results.
One common denominator? He’s been doing it without an offensive playbook for years. Willie Taggart recently spoke about Briles not using an offensive playbook and how he wasn’t sure about it at first.
However, that’s how Briles did it at Florida Atlantic and Houston, so it was interesting Taggart seemed surprised he would not be using a playbook with FSU football.
