FSU football had such a lack of depth at the linebacker position that former five-star safety Jaiden Lars-Woodbey had to change positions in 2018.
In fact, he started as a true freshman after changing positions and was named to the ESPN Freshman All-American team.
He did that after getting banged up early in the season, a shoulder injury he’s still recovering from.
However, that didn’t stop Lars-Woodbey from being one of the best tacklers in the ACC according to Pro Football Focus:
When Jaiden Woodbey squared up for a tackle last season, he made it the majority of the time.
