FSU Football: Is ‘Noles offense ready to take off against Syracuse?

FSU football has struggled mightily in its first two games, averaging just 5.42 yards per play and 16 points per game.

The Noles are converting third downs at a 30 percent clip and suffering drive ending penalties at a ridiculous rate.

However, going up against Syracuse could be just what the doctor ordered as they have been one of the worst defenses in the country the past few years.

After the first two games it’s easy to see nothing has changed as they have allowed an average of 6.6 ypp against the likes of Wagner and Western Michigan.
