It was the moment where fans of the FSU football program thought things couldn’t get any worse – just ahead of the second half letdown that has been the symbolic moment in each game this season, the injury bug hit the Seminoles in the worst possible spot when quarterback James Blackman went down with a knee injury.
While Blackman’s injury put a damper on the third quarter as Louisville staged their comeback to take the lead into the fourth quarter, it also allowed one thing to come to the forefront: the Seminoles are going to be just fine if grad transfer Alex Hornibrook has to start at least one game for the Seminoles.
