In what has become the story of the 2017 season for FSU football, the Seminoles had chance after chance to come out with a win – but seemingly couldn’t just get the job done as they dropped their sixth game of the season, losing a 31-14 decision to the rival Clemson Tigers in what was supposed to be the ACC’s game of the year before the season kicked off.
While the score looks lopsided on paper (thanks to a cheap touchdown by the Tigers that showed no class at the end of the game), the Noles found themselves hanging with the fourth ranked team in the country for three and a half quarters – which for some might even be worse considering the points that Florida State left on the field.
