I hope the FSU football fans who were about to jump off a bridge a week or so ago didn’t do it. The Noles landed their first defensive end commitment in the 2024 recruiting cycle, with four-star DD Holmes announcing the news Saturday afternoon.
Holmes chose the Noles over the hometown Maryland Terrapins and helps to fill one of the biggest needs in the recruiting class. Holmes officially visited FSU on June 23, and an assist has to go out to FSU defensive end Jared Verse.
Holmes spent a lot of time with Verse while on the visit, with Verse taking the Jermaine Johnson role in putting on the recruiting hat.
