FSU football is beginning preparations for its upcoming bowl game against Southern Mississippi, but will be without one of its most versatile players in Ermon Lane.
Lane is a former five-star wide receiver and the No. 24 overall recruit from the class of 2014. He’s found a way to add value to his role as a defensive player after failing to find his niche in Jimbo Fisher’s offense the first two years.
However, when FSU’s lack of wide receiver depth showed up this season, Lane showed he was the ultimate team player and went back to the offensive side of the ball.
