The FSU football defense lost one of the most valuable pieces of its defense when Derrick Nnadi played his final game Wednesday against Southern Mississippi.
However, the news it got just a few minutes after the game was music to the ears of defensive line coach Odell Haggins and all FSU football fans.
Junior defensive lineman DeMarcus Christmas announced he’ll return to the garnet and gold for his senior season because of a promise to his mother to get his FSU degree.
That’s 40 consecutive starts on the defensive line returning, and will be invaluable as the ‘Noles look to fill the shoes left by Nnadi and Josh Sweat.
