FSU football has sent a larger number of players in the NFL Draft over the years. Most of those talented players enjoy two or three productive years with FSU football before going to the next level.
Sometimes talented players slip through the cracks or just blossom later.
Former FSU tight end Will Tye falls into the latter category. He was a part of Jimbo Fisher’s first recruiting class at head coach in 2010. A three-star tight end recruit who was a former basketball player.
Tye redshirted in 2010 and played in four games in 2011, tallying his one catch for seven yards against Charleston Southern.
