In front of nearly 50,000 fans this past Saturday, one wide receiver for FSU football stood out above the rest with his performance in the annual Garnet and Gold game.
No, it wasn’t junior Travis Rudolph, who had a breakout season in 2015 once his friend Sean Maguire took over as the starting quarterback. It also wasn’t Ermon Lane, who has had big things expected of him since stepping foot on campus following a stellar high school career near Miami.
Instead, it was a sophomore from Tampa who spent much of the 2015 season just trying to get over the injury bug that kept him off the field for over half the season.
