When all is said and done about the history of FSU football, there may be no name higher on the list than that of Deion Sanders. The brash, talented defensive back from North Fort Myers came to Tallahassee in the summer of 1985 and proceeded to spend the next four years dominating on not just the football field, but also on the baseball diamond and on the track as well.
Fans of the Seminoles saw “PrimeTime” when it was just beginning and remained big time supporters of Sanders throughout his professional career in both the NFL and Major League Baseball.
