Ever since the end of spring practice for FSU football, two of the main questions have been about the health of the potential starting quarterback in 2016 (Sean Maguire) and the certain starting running back and Heisman Trophy hopeful (Dalvin Cook).
While Maguire missed all of spring practice while recovering from surgery on an ankle injury suffered in last season’s Peach Bowl, Cook suffered a shoulder injury during the spring and was held out for the rest of practice.
During a press event Thursday in Orlando with Florida Governor Rick Scott and the coaches of FSU football’s two biggest rivals (Florida’s Jim McElwain and Miami’s Mark Richt), Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher gave FSU football fans reason to smile with a positive update on the two offensive stars, according to ESPN:
“When June goes, he’ll (Cook) be running full speed with our players, and when August comes he’ll be in contact and everything will be going great.
