FSU running back Dalvin Cook is the best running back in the nation. Cook put up ridiculous numbers in his sophomore year at Florida State, as he improved on all of his stats in both rushing and receiving. Cook rushed for over 1,600 yards and scored 19 touchdowns rushing, and caught 24 passes for over 240 yards and one touchdown.
Cook was the most explosive back in the nation, averaging 7.4 yards per carry, an improvement from 5.9 as a freshman. The most impressive thing is Cook played much of the year with a nagging hamstring injury suffered in the fourth game of the year against Wake Forest, and missed the entire Syracuse game because of the injury.
