It pays to put the work in, and that hard work has paid off for former FSU football running back Chris Thompson.
The speedster re-signed with the Washington Redskins on Friday, but the terms were not disclosed. That’s great news for a player who suffered a broken back while at FSU, and an injury riddled rookie season in 2013 with the Redskins.
Thompson was drafted in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft with the No. 154 overall pick. He played in four games before being put on injured reserve with a torn labrum.
