Florida State added some depth at the most important position on the field today, as news broke that former three-star QB recruit Nolan McDonald would be making his way to Tallahassee, as first reported by Brendan Sonnone of Noles247.
McDonald (6’2, 185) will round out what had been a rather shallow quarterback pool, as the only signal-callers on the Seminoles’ roster had been scholarship QBs James Blackman, Deondre Francois, and Bailey Hockman. McDonald, the brother of incoming FSU freshman tight end Camren McDonald, will basically be assuming the role held by walk-on Jake Rizzo last season.
