It has been a tough couple of years since FSU football defeated Michigan in the Orange Bowl. The Noles entered the 2017 season ranked preseason top five with aspirations to compete for a national championship.
However, a loss against Alabama in the opener and losing starting quarterback Deondre Francois to injury saw those dreams go up in smoke.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and rumors began to swirl about Jimbo Fisher’s future with the program. After all, he had flirted with LSU before signing extensions with the Noles.
Those rumors came to fruition with him leaving for Texas A&M and 75 million dollars guaranteed.
