FSU football did what it had to do to pull out a win as a three-point home underdog against No. 20 Boston College.
They were able to overcome two first half turnovers, terrible officiating and a late fourth quarter deficit to get the win and have the opportunity to become bowl eligible with a win over Florida next week.
The Noles played well in spurts, in particular on defense where they shut down Boston College’s run game and forced two turnovers of their own.
The offense also played decently although they had a lot of self-inflicted wounds and squandered a lot of opportunities to put Boston College in an early deficit.
