FSU football has a new coaching staff but the mantra is still the same. That means the best players will play regardless of classification.
There was a trend of young players playing a lot of snaps in the past two years in the Willie Taggart era.
The 2018 recruiting class saw about 30 percent of its true freshmen taking meaningful snaps.
That number increased to about 38 percent with the 2019 recruiting class. On one hand, it means there was some talent taken that’s good enough to play, but sometimes it was because there was very little depth at those positions.
