When the 2018 schedule for the FSU football team was realized in the middle of January, those in garnet and gold immediately started to sweat what looked to be on paper on of the toughest – if not THE toughest schedule – that any group of Seminoles had faced in the previous 71 seasons of football at the school.
When the 2018 season came to an end for the Noles over a week ago, that schedule lived up to the hype as FSU football finished with the first losing season for the program since 1976. While some of the seasons over that span included playing an ACC that hadn’t grown up to what it is today, this schedule was among those that will go down in the history of the sport for the gauntlet.
