FSU football wrapped up its second transitional recruiting class in the last three seasons earlier this week.
A couple of players from the transfer portal or JUCO ranks can be added later, but the No. 22 ranking will not change.
It’s the worst ranking on paper in well over a decade, but the coaching staff did a solid job of meeting a lot of positional needs.
That’s one of the biggest differences between the current and past staff. It’s great to get blue-chip players but if other positional needs are not met those rankings become fool’s gold.
