After three straight games of not having to worry about it for a variety of different reasons, an old foe of the FSU football team was their downfall on Saturday night – no, I’m not talking about the opponents in black and gold but the old nemesis called giving up a half time lead and dropping a game that you had control of late in the second half.
Despite the rainy conditions for much of the final 30 game minutes of action, the Seminoles relied on the power running of their best player to go along with some decent play from their starting quarterback – all to see it go away with a fourth quarter to forget and a final two plays that we’re still trying to figure out.
