As the final seconds ticked off the clock Saturday in a cooler than normal November day inside of Doak Campbell Stadium, the sad reality came true for the FSU football team – not only did they lose their third straight game to a hated rival, but they may have just cost their head coach any chance of keeping his job after the season.
Yes, there are still three games left in the season where the Seminoles need to win at least two of they want to go to a bowl game – but even the biggest optimist like me has to wonder what team is going to show up after seeing what was put on display during the 27-10 loss that many in garnet and gold would argue could have been worse.
