After the first drive of FSU football’s home finale on Saturday against their foes from the FCS level, there was a concern that it might be another tougher than it should be battle when Alabama State jumped out on top. By the end of the game, the 37 point win took care of any fear fans in the garnet and gold may have had.
It was the end of a two week era in the life of the Seminoles that saw Florida State not just win their second game in a row for the second time this season and get Odell Haggins his fourth all time win as an interim coach, but more importantly it got the Seminoles their sixth win and let them know they’re heading to a bowl game.
