For the FSU football program, the month of December has been one that has been full of ups and downs – from a coaching change to becoming bowl eligible thanks to a rescheduled game to players leaving early and skipping the bowl to rumors that the team was not actually bowl eligible, the Seminoles have been through more in four weeks than most team go through in a whole season.
Now, the Noles make a visit to Shreveport, Louisiana for the first time in program history for a record setting 36th straight bowl appearance – and for the third time in the last 12 seasons, Florida State needs a win in their final game to avoid the first losing season for the FSU football program since Bobby Bowden’s first season in 1976.
