It’s often wise for a new athletic director to smash a bit of softball in his first big official act. And that’s just what freshly installed Florida State AD David Coburn has done, even if it’s somewhat of a layup. Though barely playing hardball, Coburn and company cranked a fastball over the fence by extending the Sunshine State Showdown between the Seminoles and Gators on the gridiron. And yes, those were four separate sports allusions in one paragraph.
FSU and UF have renewed their football rivalry through 2022, per a recent release from FSU Athletics. So tell everyone you know to go ahead and not be a jerk by getting married on any of these dates:
