Florida State and Florida are back in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament with both teams earning spots among the 68 teams headed to Indianapolis.
FSU (16-6, 11-4 ACC) will compete in the tournament for the fourth time in the last five years. The Seminoles earned the No. 4 seed in the East Region and will face No. 13 seed UNC Greensboro (21-8, 13-5 Southern) Saturday in Indianapolis.
The Spartans earned the automatic bid for the Southern Conference and it’s the fourth time they’ve qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
This the fifth meeting between the two programs and the first since 2011-12.
