FSU earns 3rd straight win with blowout of UMass, 59-3

A fumble on the opening play was an ominous start for a Florida State team that’s had its share of “uh-oh” moments this season. But unlike in those previous struggles, the Seminoles were able to overcome the early mistake before putting away visiting UMass, 59-3.

FSU (3-4, 2-2 ACC) has now won three straight games for the first time since 2017 and moves the ‘Noles halfway toward bowl eligibility. The last time Florida State qualified for a bowl game was in 2019.

Five different players scored rushing touchdowns led by tailback Jashaun Corbin, who finished with a game-high 127 yards on 11 carries as FSU amassed 365 rushing yards against the Minutemen.
