Florida State football will be without a fourth defensive player during spring camp, with head coach Mike Norvell saying Tuesday that defensive back Edwin Joseph will miss the remainder of camp due to injury.
“[It’s] nothing that’ll keep him out of summer, but unfortunately, he will be out for the rest of the spring,” he said following FSU’s practice on Tuesday.
Norvell announced ahead of spring camp that the Seminoles would be without defensive backs Conrad Hussey and Shyheim Brown as well as defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins (who transferred from Tennessee this offseason).
After redshirting in 2023 following appearances in four games, Joseph played in all 12 games for Florida State last season, logging 13 tackles, 3.
