Florida State coach Mike Norvell received some good news Thursday when defensive back Jammie Robinson announced he was returning for another season with the Seminoles.
The redshirt sophomore, who arrived as a transfer from South Carolina last offseason, was an integral part of FSU’s revitalized defense. He appeared in all 12 games, finishing with team-highs in tackles (85), interceptions (4) and forced fumbles.
A former 3-star prospect out of Lee County (Georgia), Robinson signed with South Carolina as part of their 2019 recruiting class. After two seasons with the Gamecocks, where he registered 135 tackles and two interceptions in 22 games, he transferred to Florida State.
