A spread-out opening schedule saw the Seminoles play just a couple of games when other teams were tested three and even four times, but the polls still showed the ’Noles respect as they were ranked No. 14 in the AP Poll and No. 13 in the Coaches Poll last week.
Florida State has certainly caught up in court time over the past week. Since the last polls were released a week ago, FSU has taken care of business at home by blowing out Canisius, as well as advancing to the championship game of the AdvoCare Invitational in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
