A season with plenty of promise got underway for FSU basketball on Saturday – and for the Seminoles, it was another case of Dwayne Bacon showcasing why he’s one of the top players in the country in leading the ‘Noles to the 88-67 victory over Charleston Southern.
Bacon shot 50 percent from the field – including dropping four of six three point attempts – to lead the ‘Noles with 23 points on the night:

Jonathan Isaac, one of top 10 recruits in the nation last year and a projected NBA draft pick if he goes pro after this season, made his first college start and got 10 points on the day.
