For the first time in a long while, the FSU basketball season starts off with both an ACC game and a wonder of what will take place following two straight seasons where head coach Leonard Hamilton watched as the Seminoles went to the second weekend of the NCAA tournament each season – but still fell short of making it to the Final Four.
This season is going to be a much different world as Hamilton enters his 18th season leading the Noles – because if he is going to get back to the second weekend at least and maybe make an effort to get to the second Final Four in program history, it’s going to require them to do so without players like Terance Mann, Mfiondu Kabengele and others.
