For the FSU basketball team, the start to this current season was one that no one else in college basketball playing in a power program has to deal with – literally. The Seminoles went on the road to face two teams also in power conferences to start the season – the only power conference team that got that “honor” this season.
While the opening game is one that head coach Leonard Hamilton would take back in a heartbeat seeing how it ended, the second game was one that wasn’t just sweet for the rivalry aspect of beating a hated foe, but also because it gave the nation a taste of what the Noles could be capable of this season.
