Florida State Seminoles basketball, facing off against the North Carolina Tar Heels in Chapel Hill on Saturday, had the chance to pull off the team’s second upset of a Top 25 team this season.
Early in the second half, the Seminoles led the No. 18 Tar Heels by as much as 14 points, but 22-0 run by North Carolina saw FSU’s 56-48 lead with 10:28 left in the game turn into a 70-56 deficit.
FSU managed to cut it to 78-70 at the end with a three-point shot by Darin Green Jr., getting the small win of covering the spread.
